Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed his strong belief that the upcoming CII Partnership Summit, scheduled for November 14-15 in Visakhapatnam, will significantly boost the state’s global reputation and draw crucial investments.
During a recent review meeting with top officials at the Secretariat, the Chief Minister meticulously assessed the administrative preparations for this pivotal summit. He underscored the importance of showcasing global technological advancements, solidifying international confidence in the region, promoting trade, and enhancing Visakhapatnam’s aesthetic appeal. Furthermore, he issued directives to ensure the invitation of influential global leaders, prominent CEOs, leading industrialists, and insightful policy experts.
Highlighting the state’s consistent engagement with such high-profile events, Mr. Naidu pointed out that this would mark Andhra Pradesh’s fourth CII Partnership Summit, building on the success of previous gatherings held in Visakhapatnam in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
The summit will adopt the compelling theme, “Technology, Trust, Trade – Navigating the Geo-Economic Order,” and is set to host 13 dynamic sessions. A distinguished lineup of attendees is expected, including 29 Commerce Ministers, 80 international CEOs, delegates representing 40 countries, and 13 Union Ministers. The comprehensive agenda will delve into critical areas such as global trade dynamics, geo-economic strategies, cutting-edge technology and innovation, the defense and aerospace sectors, healthcare, biotechnology, smart manufacturing processes, efficient logistics and supply chain management, sustainability initiatives, clean energy solutions, and the strategic leveraging of technology for growth.
Adding to the momentum, Minister Nara Lokesh has already conducted extensive international roadshows, personally extending invitations to foreign delegates from various nations to ensure robust global participation.
Notable figures present at the crucial meeting included Ministers N. Lokesh and P. Narayana, Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand, and CII Director General Chandrajit Banerjee.
