Andhra Pradesh’s Minister for MSMEs, Kondapalli Srinivas, has just wrapped up a highly productive week-long visit to Switzerland and Germany. This strategic tour successfully bolstered the state’s mission to draw in foreign investments and forge vital industrial partnerships.
During the final leg of his journey in Frankfurt, Minister Srinivas engaged in crucial discussions with top officials from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. These meetings centered on Germany’s evolving industrial landscape and explored exciting avenues for collaboration with India.
The Chamber’s leadership expressed strong admiration for Andhra Pradesh’s progressive, investor-friendly policies, signaling their enthusiasm for long-term cooperative ventures. In a significant move, Minister Srinivas put forward the idea of establishing an Andhra Pradesh Chapter of the German Chamber of Commerce right in Vijayawada, aiming to boost bilateral business interactions.
The Minister also held discussions with senior representatives from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Their talks focused on potentially setting up a Centre of Excellence in Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, and Sustainable Industrialisation within Andhra Pradesh. This initiative would be instrumental in helping Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the region embrace cutting-edge technologies.
Furthermore, Minister Srinivas interacted with over 30 CEOs at Accenture’s Frankfurt campus and a gathering of Indo-German entrepreneurs at the Consulate General of India. He eloquently presented Andhra Pradesh’s robust industrial ecosystem, extending a warm invitation for them to participate in the upcoming Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam, scheduled for November 14–15, 2025.
According to Minister Srinivas, numerous German investors have shown considerable interest in exploring potential projects across Andhra Pradesh. This enthusiastic response clearly highlights the state’s growing appeal and expanding footprint on the global industrial stage.
