The eagerly awaited ceremony in Amaravati, set for September 19 (Friday), where appointment letters were to be distributed to newly recruited teachers under the Mega DSC-2025 initiative, has been postponed. The decision comes due to the expectation of heavy rainfall across the region.
DSC convener M.V. Krishna Reddy issued a statement on Thursday (September 18), confirming the deferment. He cited the Meteorological Department’s forecast for significant downpours in Guntur district, highlighting potential travel difficulties and inconvenience for the participating candidates. New dates for the event, which promises to officially welcome thousands of new educators, will be announced in due course.
