In a festive gesture on the eve of Deepavali, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu delighted industrialists on October 19, 2025 (Sunday) by announcing the immediate release of ₹1,500 crore in outstanding incentives and subsidies. This marks the first phase of a broader government initiative.
An official statement confirmed that this decision is a cornerstone of the government’s ambitious strategy to transform Andhra Pradesh into a leading hub for industries and commercial ventures.
Despite facing considerable financial challenges, the administration emphasized its unwavering commitment to clearing these long-overdue incentives, underscoring its dedication to supporting the industrial sector.
The lion’s share of this substantial fund release is expected to benefit Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), aligning perfectly with the coalition government’s pledge to provide vital support that empowers industries to significantly contribute to economic growth.
Potluri Bhaskar Rao, president of the AP Chambers of Commerce & Industries’ Federation (AP Chambers), warmly welcomed the Chief Minister’s announcement.
In a press release, Mr. Rao highlighted that this much-anticipated decision offers immense relief to industries, especially MSMEs, which can now look forward to revitalizing their operations and fostering sustainable growth.
Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, Mr. Bhaskar Rao also put forth a request for a subsequent installment of incentives to be released prior to the upcoming CII Partnership Summit-2025.
