The Pragathi Padham Youth Association, working hand-in-hand with MYBharat and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, successfully orchestrated a large-scale blood donation camp in Anantapur on Sunday, September 28, 2025. Held at the Indian Red Cross Society as part of the ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ initiative, the primary goal of this impactful event was to inspire young people to contribute blood, crucial for supporting Thalassemia patients and addressing various emergency medical requirements.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from several prominent individuals and groups. Bisathi Bharath, a recognized MYBharat youth icon, led by example with his remarkable 38th blood donation. He was joined by esteemed President of India Awardees Kuruba Jaya Maruthi and Bisati Jeevan Kumar, alongside dedicated NCC and NSS officers, and various local dignitaries. Further bolstering the spirit of community service, students from SSBN College and members of the Young Leaders group also actively took part, showcasing the strong commitment of Anantapur’s youth to humanitarian causes.
