During his inaugural review meeting at the newly opened APCRDA headquarters, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu issued a clear directive to officials: establish firm deadlines and significantly speed up the ongoing construction of the Amaravati capital. His instructions followed a thorough inspection of the entire complex.
Chief Minister Naidu meticulously reviewed the departmental placements within the building and requested comprehensive updates on all infrastructure projects underway throughout the capital region. He underscored the critical need for uninterrupted construction, advocating for the deployment of ample human resources and equipment to achieve swift advancement.
Addressing the current challenges, the Chief Minister stated, “While recent rains have caused a temporary slowdown, construction must recommence at maximum capacity once the monsoon season concludes. I assure you there are absolutely no financial limitations. I will personally ensure the Finance Department facilitates seamless and prompt disbursement of necessary funds.” Officials confirmed to Mr. Naidu that crucial site infrastructure was being enhanced to preempt any future interruptions.
The pivotal review meeting saw the presence of several key figures, including Union Minister Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P. Narayana, and MLAs Tenali Sravan Kumar, Dhulipalla Narendra, and Kolikapudi Srinivas. Senior officials from both the Municipal Administration Department and the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) were also in attendance.
