Anantapur Hindupur Urban Development Authority (AHUDA) Chairman T.C. Varun issued a strong directive on Thursday, October 30, emphasizing the immediate need to legalize all existing property layouts within AHUDA’s jurisdiction. He specifically instructed officials to take decisive and firm action against any illegal developments.
Chairman Varun’s remarks came during the weekly grievance day, a platform designed to address public concerns within the AHUDA area, where he was joined by Joint Collector and AHUDA Vice-Chairman Shiv Narayan Sarma. During the session, Mr. Varun personally received six petitions from citizens.
He urged the officials to accelerate ongoing development projects in NTR Township and MIG Layout, ensuring that all plot purchasers receive essential basic amenities. Furthermore, he mandated the swift commencement of constructing “Pink Toilets” across Anantapur city, highlighting a focus on public facilities.
