The Ahalia School of Pharmacy recently celebrated its annual graduation ceremony, dubbed ‘Majesta 2025,’ on Saturday in Palakkad. This esteemed event welcomed Dr. C.T. Sulaiman, a distinguished senior scientist and the head of the phytochemistry division at Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala’s Centre for Medicinal Plants Research, as its chief guest.
During his insightful convocation address, Dr. Sulaiman emphasized the profound importance of phytochemistry. He highlighted its pivotal role in unlocking the therapeutic benefits hidden within plants and driving forward innovative research in natural products, a field crucial for future advancements in medicine.
The ceremony also featured speeches from other distinguished guests, including Shriya Gopal, managing trustee of Ahalia International Foundation; Krishna Kumar Kishore, executive director of Ahalia Health Heritage and Knowledge Village; and Sapna Shrikumar, the principal of the Pharmacy College.
A special segment of the event was dedicated to recognizing academic excellence, with awards presented to the outstanding B.Pharm rank holders from both the 2023 and 2024 graduating batches.
