Pune, October 14, 2025: The tranquil morning at the Pune race track was electrified by a series of rigorous equine exercises today, with one horse, in particular, capturing significant attention: Absolute Gorgeous, who delivered a truly impressive performance.
On the inner sand track, several horses demonstrated their fitness. In the 600-meter sprint, Cellini, under the guidance of Mosin, moved commendably, clocking in at 36 seconds.
The 800-meter trials saw Viennoise, ridden by T.S. Jodha, and Agatha, with Mosin, moving in perfect synchrony, finishing neck and neck in 51 seconds (800m) and a final 600m split of 38 seconds. Both horses displayed effortless movement. La Dolce Vita, skillfully handled by Pranil, also showed a fluid run, completing the 800m in 53 seconds and the last 600m in 39 seconds. Esteban, with Neeraj, and Shubhankar, guided by Bharat, enjoyed a relatively easy session, recording 56 seconds for 800m and 42 seconds for 600m. The Flutist, steered by T.S. Jodha, required a slight urging to finish the 800m in 54 seconds and 600m in 40 seconds.
For longer distances, Merchant Of Venice, ridden by Ramswarup, completed 1000 meters in 1 minute and 11 seconds, with the final 600 meters taking 43 seconds, indicating a comfortable pace.
However, the undisputed highlight of the morning came from Absolute Gorgeous. Piloted by S. Kamble, the magnificent horse executed a 1200-meter exercise in an outstanding 1 minute and 18 seconds, posting remarkable splits of 49 seconds for 800m and a swift 37 seconds for the final 600m. This exceptional display suggests that Absolute Gorgeous is in prime condition, hinting at a strong contender for forthcoming competitions.
