Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who recently took on the pivotal role as the BJP’s election in-charge for the forthcoming Bihar Assembly polls, engaged in a key meeting with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday.
During this important ‘courtesy call’ at the Chief Minister’s official residence at 1, Anney Marg, Mr. Pradhan was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary. Also present was JD(U) working national president Sanjay Kumar Jha, a close aide to the Chief Minister, underscoring the political significance of the gathering.
Mr. Pradhan’s visit to Patna began on Friday, following his new responsibilities assigned by the BJP earlier in the week. His schedule included attending a high-level meeting with party leaders, which was chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Further demonstrating his active involvement, the Union Minister spearheaded a robust door-to-door campaign on Saturday within the Digha Assembly segment. This constituency is notably the largest among Bihar’s 243 electoral divisions, highlighting a focused effort on grassroots engagement.
