Authorities in Mysuru have taken decisive action, suspending eight assistant teachers who were tasked with crucial enumeration duties for the ongoing Social and Educational Survey. The suspensions came after these educators failed to report for their assigned work.
The Deputy Director of School Education for Mysuru, Javare Gowda, issued the suspension orders following direct instructions from Deputy Commissioner Lakshmikant Reddy and Zilla Panchayat CEO Yukesh Kumar.
A public statement detailed the reasons for the disciplinary action, citing the teachers’ failure to participate in the survey, their unresponsiveness to official calls, and an overall display of irresponsibility and gross negligence in their assigned duties.
