Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath delivered a stern warning on Sunday, stating that anyone found disrupting festivals or hindering development work in the state would face significant repercussions that will be remembered by future generations.
Adityanath highlighted that despite rapid development progress, certain elements are actively attempting to create obstacles. Addressing a public gathering in Balrampur, he remarked, “On one hand, development is progressing at an unrelenting pace, while on the other hand, there are certain elements that are obstructing the development. They create obstacles in development somewhere or another. They want to cause disruptions during festivals; they consider anarchy their birthright.”
“I warn them here that if you become an obstacle in development, if you disrupt development schemes through disruptions and anarchy, then you should assume that this very development will first become the cause of your destruction. If anyone tries to create disruptions during festivals and celebrations, they will have to pay the price for this disruption, which their coming generations will also remember,” the chief minister added.
Earlier in the day, coinciding with Sharadiya Navratri, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Maa Pateshwari Devi temple in Tulsipur, Balrampur district, to offer prayers. The temple, also known as Devi Patan, is recognized as one of the 51 Shakti Peethas dedicated to Goddess Durga.
Sharadiya Navratri, a significant Hindu festival, spans nine nights dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga, symbolizing various aspects of feminine power, compassion, and wisdom. Devotees observe fasts, chant devotional songs, and participate in traditional dances like Garba and Dandiya.
Today marks the seventh day of Navratri, dedicated to the worship of Maa Kaalratri, a formidable manifestation of Goddess Durga, revered as the destroyer of demons and negative energies, who guides devotees out of darkness. (ANI)
