Hyderabad is set to celebrate World Heart Day 2025 with a vibrant and inspiring painting competition for local schoolchildren. Organized by Apollo Hospitals in collaboration with The Hindu in School, this creative event will take place on Monday, September 29, at the Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Jubilee Hills.
The competition welcomes young artists from Classes 4 to 10, divided into two categories: Junior (Classes 4 to 7) and Senior (Classes 8 to 10). Participants can choose from three thought-provoking themes: Don’t Miss a Beat – Care for Your Heart, Healthy Heart, Happy Life, and My Heart, My Responsibility.
Students should remember to bring their own art supplies. A3-size drawing sheets will be provided at the venue. The event kicks off at 9:30 a.m., and contestants will have an hour and a half to bring their artistic visions to life. Registration is completely free and can be completed online.
Esteemed art personalities will judge the entries, and winners will be announced and awarded on the same day. The top three artists in each category will receive fantastic prizes to celebrate their talent and dedication. Please note that submitted artworks will not be returned.
