The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a significant warning for Telangana, forecasting heavy rainfall across five of its districts this Sunday, September 28. Residents in Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Vikarabad, and Sangareddy should prepare for isolated but intense downpours.
Beyond these specific regions, the IMD’s latest bulletin indicates that all 33 districts of Telangana are likely to experience thunderstorms, complete with lightning and strong, gusty winds. This means a widespread impact is expected across the entire state.
For Hyderabad and its surrounding areas, the forecast for the next 24 hours suggests a predominantly cloudy sky. The city can expect light to moderate rain or thundershowers, with periods of intense rainfall, also accompanied by gusty winds. Additionally, mist or hazy conditions are anticipated during the early morning and late night hours. Temperatures in Hyderabad are predicted to hover around a maximum of 28 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 22 degrees Celsius.
