On Friday, September 26, 2025, U.S. House Democrats unveiled daily schedules belonging to the deceased financier and convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. These documents, spanning from 2014 to 2019, indicate Epstein had planned meetings with notable individuals including Republican donors Elon Musk and Peter Thiel, as well as conservative commentator Steve Bannon.
These newly disclosed documents, obtained by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee via a congressional subpoena to Epstein’s estate, also revealed that Britain’s Prince Andrew was a passenger on Epstein’s private jet in the year 2000.
It’s important to note that the released documents themselves contain no accusations of wrongdoing against Mr. Musk, Mr. Thiel, Mr. Bannon, or Mr. Andrew. Furthermore, the daily calendars do not confirm whether these scheduled meetings actually occurred.
The House Oversight Committee Democrats also posted on social media, highlighting the release of these schedules and calling for the Department of Justice to make all Epstein-related files public. Their post specifically mentioned planned meetings with Steve Bannon, Peter Thiel, a potential visit for Elon Musk to Epstein’s private island, and Prince Andrew being listed as a passenger on Epstein’s jet.
Following the news, Elon Musk publicly denied the claims in a social media post on Friday, stating, “This is false.” Representatives for Peter Thiel, Steve Bannon, and Prince Andrew have not yet issued immediate comments regarding the revelations.
This latest development adds to existing scrutiny, as former President Donald Trump has recently faced criticism from both conservative supporters and congressional Democrats concerning his administration’s handling of the Epstein investigation.
In an earlier move in July, the Justice Department announced it would not release files from its sex trafficking probe into Epstein, a reversal from previous assurances made by Trump and his associates.
Democrats emphasized that the documents reveal Epstein’s associations with “some of the most powerful and wealthiest men in the world,” renewing their demand for the Justice Department to fully disclose all investigation records.
Sara Guerrero, a spokesperson for the House Oversight Committee Democrats, stated in a press release that they “will not stop until we identify everyone complicit in Epstein’s heinous crimes.” This statement comes despite FBI Director Kash Patel’s recent congressional testimony claiming no credible evidence existed that Epstein trafficked individuals for anyone other than himself. Epstein, who had pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking charges, died by suicide in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial.
Epstein’s Partner Ghislaine Maxwell Convicted
The calendar entries detailing Epstein’s planned interactions with Mr. Musk, Mr. Thiel, and Mr. Bannon pertain to the period after his 2008 guilty plea to state prostitution charges but before his 2019 federal indictment for sex trafficking.
A specific calendar entry from December 6, 2014, noted: “Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?).” During this time, Epstein owned a private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands, a location where numerous women have reported being abused by him.
Among the documents released on Friday, September 26, 2025, a passenger list confirms that Britain’s Prince Andrew traveled on Epstein’s private jet with Epstein and his long-term associate Ghislaine Maxwell on May 12, 2000, flying from the New York area to Palm Beach, Florida.
Evidence from Maxwell’s 2021 sex trafficking trial, including flight logs, had previously indicated that Prince Andrew had flown on Epstein’s aircraft on multiple other occasions.
In 2022, Prince Andrew reached a settlement in a U.S. lawsuit filed by the late Virginia Giuffre, a notable accuser of Epstein. Giuffre’s lawsuit alleged sexual abuse by Andrew during her teenage years. Prince Andrew consistently denied these allegations, expressing regret for his past association with Epstein.
Ghislaine Maxwell was found guilty of recruiting and grooming underage girls for Epstein’s abuse, for which she is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence. Despite her not-guilty plea, she is now seeking to have her conviction overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court.
