The remaining sixteen districts of Telangana are under a ‘yellow alert,’ meaning they are expected to receive heavy rainfall. While not as severe as the orange alert areas, residents here should still exercise caution and prepare for significant precipitation. These districts include:

Hyderabad’s Forecast: Gusty Winds and Moderate to Heavy Showers
For Hyderabad and its surrounding areas, the IMD predicts moderate to heavy rain or thundershowers over the next 48 hours. These showers will likely be accompanied by gusty winds, reaching speeds of 40-50 kmph. Citizens in the capital city are advised to stay updated on local weather developments and take necessary precautions.
As of Friday evening at 5 p.m., Shabad in Rangareddy district had already recorded the highest rainfall, measuring 104.3 mm, highlighting the intensity of the current weather system.
