Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu recently inaugurated the state-of-the-art Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) at the revered hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara. This significant launch, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, marks the beginning of a new era, leveraging advanced technology to enhance pilgrim management and ensure a smoother experience for devotees.
This cutting-edge facility boasts Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and quantum-ready analytics. Its core function is to meticulously monitor real-time crowd movements through an extensive network of over 6,000 CCTV cameras. The sophisticated system incorporates 3D mapping and advanced “red-spot” identification capabilities, allowing authorities to anticipate potential congestion and effectively manage crowds from Alipiri all the way to the main Tirumala temple complex. Furthermore, it will issue immediate advisories, ensuring an uninterrupted and peaceful darshan for all pilgrims.
During the inauguration, CM Naidu issued directives to TTD officials, emphasizing the importance of enhancing the pilgrim experience. He urged them to broadcast engaging videos depicting the magnificence of Lord Venkateswara within queue lines, offering spiritual engagement to waiting devotees. Additionally, he advocated for the integration of all TTD-managed temples throughout the state into the ICCC network, aiming for comprehensive monitoring and streamlined coordination across all sacred sites.
Officials stated that beyond its role as Tirumala’s technological hub, the ICCC is designed to provide pilgrims with a safer, faster, and profoundly more spiritually enriching visit to the revered shrine. This initiative underscores a commitment to harnessing innovation for the benefit of millions of devotees.
