The Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) is calling on all citizens and visitors to Mysuru to observe crucial safety guidelines while enjoying the spectacular Dasara illumination displays across the city.
In a recent statement, CESC highlighted that thousands are flocking daily to witness the beautifully lit circles and roads of Mysuru. To ensure everyone’s well-being, they stressed the importance of following specific instructions, such as maintaining a safe distance and refraining from touching any illumination poles.
Among the key directives, the public is advised against standing too close to illuminated poles for selfies, photos, or video recordings. Given that poles and intricate replicas now adorn major roads and traffic circles, motorists are urged to drive with heightened caution.
Furthermore, during periods of rain, everyone is strongly cautioned to avoid going near any illuminated electrical setups and to exercise extreme vigilance.
This year, for Dasara 2025, a magnificent display lights up 118 traffic circles and 136 kilometers of roads throughout Mysuru. Adding to this grandeur, 80 stunning replicas, crafted from vibrant LED bulbs, have been strategically placed at prominent locations, significantly enhancing the overall beauty of the Dasara festivities, as detailed in a note from CESC.
