The Bengaluru track was alive with activity this Wednesday morning, September 24th, as several horses underwent their exercise routines. Among them, four names shone brightly: Miracle Star, Darrington, Aldgate, and Efficacy, all of whom delivered particularly impressive performances.
Inner Sand Work:
600m: Mahler, guided by P. Trevor, completed the distance in a pleasing 40.5 seconds, showing good form.
Outer Sand Work:
600m: Chisox, with Dhanu S aboard, moved with ease, clocking 45.5 seconds. The real highlight at this distance was Miracle Star, ridden by D. Patel, who caught the eye with a sharp 41-second finish.
1000m: Aldgate, under Antony, put in a good display, finishing in 1 minute 9.5 seconds, with the last 600m covered in 41.5 seconds.
1200m: Larissa, partnered with P. Trevor, demonstrated fine trim, completing the workout in 1 minute 31.5 seconds, with the 1000m mark at 1 minute 15.5 seconds and the final 600m at 44 seconds. Dufy, ridden by Shinde, moved impressively, stopping the clock at 1 minute 29.5 seconds, with the 1000m split at 1 minute 13 seconds and the last 600m at 42 seconds.
1400m: This longer distance saw some stellar runs. Darrington, with Arvind in the saddle, moved fluently, completing the course in 1 minute 44.5 seconds, with splits of 1 minute 27.5 seconds for 1200m, 1 minute 12.5 seconds for 1000m, and 43.5 seconds for the final 600m. Don Carlos, also ridden by P. Trevor, moved comfortably on the bit, finishing in 1 minute 43.5 seconds (1200m: 1-28, 1000m: 1-14, 600m: 46). Finally, Efficacy, another mount for P. Trevor, moved attractively, recording a strong 1 minute 38.5 seconds for the 1400m, with 1200m at 1 minute 24 seconds, 1000m at 1 minute 11 seconds, and 600m at 43 seconds.
