A crucial second session of the expert committee dedicated to developing an essential English-Malayalam glossary recently took place at Kerala University’s Karyavattom campus. This gathering marked significant progress in a project designed to bridge linguistic gaps in specialized fields.
Concluding on September 20, this five-day intensive meeting was a collaborative effort between the Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSTT), operating under the Ministry of Education, and Kerala University’s esteemed Department of Commerce. Their joint commitment underscored the importance of this linguistic endeavor.
A press statement confirmed that the discussions led to remarkable advancements in the glossary’s compilation, which now proudly features an impressive 3,837 meticulously defined technical terms relevant to the Commerce discipline. This resource is poised to be invaluable for students, educators, and professionals alike.
