The second day of the annual Navaratri Utsav in Vizianagaram witnessed a profound display of devotion, as countless worshippers converged at the revered Sri Ganapati Kameswari Sahita Gayatridevi temple. The highlight of the day was the sacred Sri Gayatri homam, a ritual that drew an overwhelming number of devotees, eager to participate in the auspicious ceremonies dedicated to the presiding deity.
Ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for everyone, the temple’s managing trustee, P.V. Ganesh, and the dedicated temple committee members meticulously organized all aspects of the special prayers and the homam. To manage the significant increase in footfall and vehicular movement, traffic police were strategically deployed to ease congestion on the busy roads leading to the temple. Adding to the festive atmosphere across the city, various community organizations also set up vibrant Durga pandals in prominent locations, including the Municipal Corporation, Railway Station, and Cantonment areas.
