Konda Visweshwar Reddy, the esteemed Member of Parliament representing Chevella in Telangana, recently made a remarkable act of devotion. On Tuesday, he presented a magnificent golden ‘Asta Lakshmi Chandra Vanka’ necklace to the sacred Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala.
This exquisite gold ornament, weighing an impressive 535 grams and valued at approximately ₹60 lakh, was personally handed over by the MP and his family members. They offered the precious gift to B.R. Naidu, Chairman of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), and Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, the Additional Executive Officer, within the hallowed premises of the temple.
