A stellar lineup of horses, including This Is Gold, Bluemed, Vishwas, Present Sir, and Kings Justice, truly caught the eye during their morning exercises on Tuesday at the Chennai track. Their performances hinted at exciting races to come.
Outer Sand Workouts:
Over 600m, Magical Bay (Shyam Kumar) clocked a comfortable 45 seconds, showcasing ease in its stride. Queens Cliff (M.S. Deora) moved freely, finishing in 45.5. Stablemates Opus One (Shyam Kumar) and Mother’s Grace (M.S. Deora) impressed, finishing level at a brisk 42.5 seconds.
Inner Sand Workouts:
The 600m drills on the inner sand track saw several strong showings. Gold Ride (Shah Alam) appeared fit, finishing in 43 seconds, while Golden Marina (N. Darshan) looked in good condition at 41. Safety (Ram Nandan) was unextended, clocking 41.5. The pairing of One Way Ticket (Inayat) and All Stars (Koshi Kumar) proved to be a fit duo, completing their run in 42 seconds. Supreme Royalty (rb) had an easy 46.5, and Sacre Couer (Shah Alam) extended well in the final segment, finishing in 41.
The highlights included Bluemed (Ram Nandan) and Vishwas (M.S. Deora) who moved attractively, both timing 38.5 seconds. Element (rb) and Emperor Vikram (S. Kabdhar) moved freely at 46.5. Dark Son (Koshi Kumar) was handy at 42.5, and Bold Show (Shah Alam) had an easy 48. In an impressive display, Kings Justice (Ram Nandan) showed superior form over Desert Star (Inayat), clocking 38.5 seconds. Present Sir (Farid Ansari) and Proposed (N. Darshan) moved impressively, finishing in 39.5. However, the standout performance came from This Is Gold (M. Bhaskar), delivering an excellent display in just 37.5 seconds. Star Power (Ram Nandan) moved well within himself at 39.5. Other easy finishes included Springsteen (Ram Nandan) at 47.5 and Noorie (Koshi Kumar) at 47. Arjun (Inayat) moved on the bit in 45.5, while Royal Tribute (Jitendra Singh) clocked 47.
Inner Sand Gate Practice:
The 600m gate practice session on the inner sand also had notable efforts. Sovereign Spirit (Koshi Kumar), Chief Admiral (S. Kabdhar), and a 3-year-old by Surfrider – Sassy Lass (Ram Nandan) completed their drill in 38.81 seconds, finishing in that order. Star Of Light (M.S. Deora) and Admiral Shaw (Jitendra Singh) moved competently, timing 39.06. Starlight Whisper (Inayat) and Larado (N. Darshan) pushed under the whip to finish in 39.64. The fastest time in gate practice was set by Set In Gold (M. Bhaskar), who proved too good for Marshall (K.V. Baskar) and Sea Legacy (B. Mal), clocking an impressive 37.42 seconds.
