Four distinguished professors from Yogi Vemana University (YVU) have achieved a significant honor, being named among the world’s top 2% scientists in the highly anticipated 2025 edition of Stanford University’s prestigious list.
The esteemed academics recognized for their groundbreaking work include M.V. Shankar from the Department of Material Science and Nano-technology, L. Veeranjaney Reddy from the Department of Microbiology, and Katta Venkateswarlu from the Department of Chemistry. Adding to this remarkable achievement, YVU’s own Vice-Chancellor, Allam Srinivasa Rao, also secured a place on this exclusive roster.
Expressing his pride, the Vice-Chancellor commented, “The recognition of our professors in the top 2% of global scientists is truly commendable and a testament to the significant strides our university is making in academic research.
