The University of Agriculture Sciences (UAS) in Raichur is set to host a significant two-day national post-graduation research conference on September 23 and 24. This event aims to empower postgraduate students by boosting their confidence, deepening their research knowledge, and refining their communication and presentation abilities.
Gururaj Sunkad, Dean of Post-Graduation and the conference’s organizing secretary, emphasized that the directorate’s primary goal is to create a vibrant platform for education experts, experienced teachers, leading scientists, and enthusiastic students to interact and share valuable insights. This exchange of experiences is crucial for fostering collaborative learning and innovation.
Attendees can look forward to a diverse program featuring presentations of dissertation abstracts across 35 distinct research topics by students from various State and national institutions. Additionally, 147 abstracts will be showcased as engaging wall posters, offering multiple avenues for knowledge dissemination. The conference anticipates drawing around 500 professionals, including faculty, subject matter experts, and students.
A special highlight of the event will be a commemorative lecture honoring the late scientist S.A. Patil. The conference will be presided over by UAS Vice-Chancellor M. Hanumanthappa, with notable participation from retired Educational Director M.G. Patil, Sharanagouda Bayyapur, Basavanagouda Byagwat, A. Amaregouda, Sharanabasappa Koteppagol, and other distinguished personalities.
