Stepping up to the 1000-meter mark, several horses demonstrated their stamina and speed:
- Southern Dynasty (Rayan) strode out powerfully, clocking 1-14.5 overall, with an excellent final 600m in 43 seconds, signaling fine form.
- Rock Bank (rb) moved smoothly and keenly on the bit, finishing the 1000m in 1-16.5 and the last 600m in 46 seconds.
