It is with deep sadness that we report the passing of Gopichand P. Hinduja, the respected chairman of the vast Hinduja Group, who died in London at the age of 85.
Known affectionately in business circles as ‘GP,’ Mr. Hinduja had been experiencing poor health for several weeks before his demise at a London hospital, according to family sources. A prominent figure of the Hinduja family’s second generation, he assumed the role of chairman in May 2023, following the passing of his elder brother, Srichand P. Hinduja.
Gopichand Hinduja leaves behind a significant legacy and is survived by his loving wife, Sunita, his sons Sanjay and Dheeraj, and his daughter, Rita. His contributions to the global business landscape and his family’s enterprise will be remembered.
