Congress leader and TPCC working president T. Jagga Reddy emphasized that India’s future stability and prosperity hinge on Rahul Gandhi becoming the Prime Minister.
Speaking at a press conference in Sangareddy on Saturday, Reddy urged the populace of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to acknowledge this crucial point. He asserted that if the Congress secures 14 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana and 20 in Andhra Pradesh, it would significantly bolster Rahul Gandhi’s prospects for the top political office.
Drawing a stark contrast between historical and contemporary leadership, Reddy recalled, “There was a time when Indira Gandhi commanded global respect. Now, the world dictates terms to Prime Minister Modi.”
He further criticized KCR, Jagan Mohan Reddy, and Chandrababu Naidu, stating that both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have endured a decade of stagnation under their leadership. Reddy claimed that despite their support for the BJP at the national level, these leaders failed to secure essential funds or drive significant development in their respective states.
