Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini recently spearheaded a significant initiative, distributing ₹2,100 each to 522,162 deserving women beneficiaries. This financial aid, part of the ‘Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi’ scheme, is designed to cultivate self-reliance and bolster economic independence among women across the state.
During a press conference held in Chandigarh, Chief Minister Saini emphasized that this program transcends a typical government scheme. He highlighted it as a prime illustration of the transparent and integrity-driven approach of the “double-engine government,” which is deeply dedicated to societal upliftment and transformative change.
Further elaborating on his administration’s broader vision, the Chief Minister stated that the BJP government is actively committed to upholding the rights of marginalized Scheduled Castes. This includes ensuring their equitable involvement in government employment, as well as participation in local panchayat and municipal elections. He also pointed out the introduction of numerous welfare programs specifically tailored for backward classes and economically vulnerable segments of society.
Highlighting accomplishments in youth development, Mr. Saini proudly announced that the current government has achieved remarkable strides in creating employment opportunities. Over the last eleven years, a staggering 300,000 young individuals have secured government jobs through a system that prioritizes complete transparency.
He concluded by underscoring the state government’s dual focus on empowering youth through both comprehensive education and robust skill development, aligning these efforts with the progressive goals of the new National Education Policy. Moreover, he mentioned the successful establishment of a strong ‘Ease of Doing Business’ environment, which is set to accelerate industrial growth throughout Haryana.
