In a proactive move towards critical water conservation, Cuddalore Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar officially launched a unique public awareness campaign focused on rainwater harvesting. The significant initiative, which aims to empower the community with knowledge on sustainable water practices, was ceremoniously kicked off at the Town Hall on Friday.
At the heart of this vital campaign is a specially equipped awareness vehicle, designed to bring essential information directly to the people. This mobile unit will feature engaging short films and provide practical demonstrations of various rainwater harvesting methods, specifically tailored to suit different types of homes and buildings. To ensure widespread reach and maximum community engagement, the van is scheduled to traverse all village panchayats, town panchayats, municipalities, and corporation areas across Cuddalore from October 31st to November 4th.
