Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy undertook an extensive aerial survey of the flood-devastated Warangal and Hanamkonda districts on Friday afternoon, October 31, 2025. These regions bore the brunt of Cyclone Montha earlier this week, experiencing severe flooding. Accompanied by his Cabinet colleagues, Chief Minister Reddy personally surveyed areas like Husnabad, Koheda, Bheemdevarpally, Akkanapet, and Elkurthi mandals. Following the aerial inspection, he walked through affected neighborhoods, observing damaged homes and roads, and directly conversed with residents to understand their plight.
The widespread flooding has brought normal life to a standstill, with homes submerged, roadways rendered impassable, and extensive damage to both standing crops and recent harvests. According to preliminary assessments shared by Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswar Rao, the government estimates that approximately 4.48 lakh acres of agricultural land, impacting 2.53 lakh farmers across a dozen districts, have suffered significant crop losses.
During his crucial visit, Chief Minister Reddy was supported by his ministerial team, including Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, and Vem Narender Reddy, along with his Advisor.
