In a deeply concerning incident reported from Faridabad, Haryana, a 15-year-old girl has allegedly been subjected to gang rape. The victim, a student of Class 8, was reportedly abducted and held captive in a car for several hours before being left near her home. The harrowing ordeal began on the evening of October 26, when the girl went to a market in Sector 18 around 7 pm.
According to the complaint lodged by her sister, the girl failed to return home, prompting her family to initiate a search. She eventually returned home in the early hours of October 27, around 4:30 am. She disclosed to her family that she had been kidnapped by four young men in a car the previous evening. They allegedly took her to a secluded location, administered a drug, and then sexually assaulted her.
Following the complaint, the Faridabad police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against the four unidentified youths. The case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the stringent Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act at the Faridabad Old Police Station.
Authorities are actively investigating the matter. The Station House Officer (SHO), Vishnu Mittar, stated that the victim is currently not in a condition to provide a formal statement. The police are diligently reviewing CCTV footage from the Sector 18 market area to identify the perpetrators and ensure their swift arrest.
