Kollu Ravindra, the Minister for Excise and Mines and Geology, has issued a powerful call to action for leaders of the TDP, JSP, and BJP. He urged them to approach the upcoming local body elections with the same enthusiasm and unity that secured 16 Assembly seats in the erstwhile Krishna district. The Minister emphasized the need for these leaders to showcase the government’s significant accomplishments over the past eighteen months.
During a key meeting held Saturday at the R&B guest house for leaders from the unified Krishna district, Mr. Ravindra specifically tasked the ruling party members with actively debunking any false claims being circulated by YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders Perni Venkataramaiah and Jogi Ramesh.
Addressing the recent disagreement between Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath and Tiruvuru MLA K. Srinivasa Rao, the Minister assured attendees that the Chief Minister would personally intervene to resolve the matter. He light-heartedly noted that internal differences are a natural part of political parties, much like in any family.
Concurrently, Mr. Sivanath highlighted the collaborative efforts of the TDP, JSP, and BJP alliance towards comprehensive development across the combined Krishna district, noting that positive outcomes are already visible. He affirmed the government’s strong commitment to welfare initiatives and proposed monthly meetings for the three-party coalition to regularly review progress on development projects and welfare scheme implementation.
The meeting saw the attendance of several prominent figures, including TDP presidents Konakalla Narayana Rao (representing Krishna) and Nettem Raghu Ram (representing NTR district). Also present were MLAs Bode Prasad, Yarlagadda Venkat Rao, Varla Kumar Raja, Vasantha Krishna Prasad, Sriram Rajagopal, Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, and Mandali Buddha Prasad (from JSP). JSP NTR district president Samineni Udaya Bhanu and BJP NTR district president A. Sriram also participated.
