Union Home Minister Amit Shah strongly criticized the INDIA bloc on Saturday, October 25, 2025, for their opposition to the special intensive revision of electoral rolls in Bihar. He asserted that every infiltrator would be identified and deported from the country.
Speaking at a public gathering in Khagaria district, Mr. Shah declared that the upcoming Assembly election in Bihar would be a decisive moment, determining whether the state would regress into ‘jungle raaj’ or continue its trajectory of progress and development.
“It doesn’t matter if Rahul Gandhi attempts to protect these infiltrators through various initiatives. He cannot succeed with a ‘Ghuspetiya Bachao Yatra’. We will detect every infiltrator, remove them from voter lists, and ensure their deportation,” Mr. Shah affirmed.
He accused RJD leader Lalu Prasad of prioritizing his own family’s prosperity over the comprehensive development of Bihar.
“While Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar are committed to Bihar’s overall advancement, Lalu Prasad’s sole focus is the ‘vikas’ [prosperity] of his family. The people of Bihar do not desire a return to an era of ‘jungle raj’,” Mr. Shah stated.
Furthermore, Mr. Shah highlighted a significant reduction in serious crimes across Bihar during the tenure of the NDA government.
“Under the previous RJD rule, Bihar was plagued by rampant murders, dacoity, and other criminal activities,” Mr. Shah alleged, drawing a sharp contrast.
