Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan has officially approved a grant of ₹6 crore for the construction of a vital 7-kilometer road. This new stretch will run along the picturesque banks of the Godavari River, establishing essential road connectivity between the revered Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Vadapalli and National Highway 216, situated within the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema district.
Currently, the Vadapalli Venkateswara Temple draws thousands of pilgrims from across South India, especially bustling with activity every Saturday. The existing road infrastructure from Ravulapalem struggles to accommodate the heavy volume of vehicular traffic, causing considerable inconvenience to visitors.

During a meeting held on Thursday, Kothapeta MLA Bandaru Satyananda Rao passionately appealed to Mr. Pawan Kalyan for the necessary funds to develop this crucial road link to the temple. Recognizing the pressing need, Mr. Kalyan promptly sanctioned the project.
In an official statement, Mr. Satyananda Rao expressed his gratitude, noting that the new road, once completed, will not only alleviate traffic congestion but also offer devotees the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking natural beauty of the Godavari River throughout their journey to the temple.
