The Telangana State government has recently implemented a series of administrative changes, assigning new roles and responsibilities to several key IAS officers.
Among the most significant appointments, M. Raghunandan Rao, who currently serves as the Commercial Taxes Commissioner, will now also hold the full additional charge as Secretary for the Revenue (Commercial Taxes & Excise) department. This move follows the voluntary retirement of Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi, effective October 31. Additionally, S. Harish, the Chairman and Managing Director of TS Genco, has been given the full additional charge as Endowments Director, taking over from Shailaja Ramaiyer.
Further adjustments include Bhavesh Mishra, Deputy Secretary of the IT department, being assigned full additional charge as Director of Mines & Geology, a position previously held by Valluru Kranthi. Concurrently, Garima Agarwal, the Additional Collector for Local Bodies in Siddipet, has been transferred to serve as the Additional Collector for Local Bodies in Rajanna-Sircilla. These orders were officially issued by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao.
