Nemom’s Victory Vocational Higher Secondary School is celebrating a remarkable achievement! Students A.S. Anoop and A.A. Abhinav have triumphed, clinching the coveted first prize in the highly engaging ‘Charitrathinoppam Nadakkaam – Indian National Congress’ quiz. This impressive statewide competition, meticulously organized by the Kerala Secretariat Association as part of its diamond jubilee celebrations, brought together bright young minds from across the state to test their knowledge on the history of the Indian National Congress.
Anoop and Abhinav’s stellar performance earned them a generous cash prize of ₹20,000. The competition also recognized other outstanding talents: Easwar M. Vinayan from SH Upper Primary School, Chullimanoor, secured the first runner-up position, while A.R. Meenakshi and Ayana Ajeesh from Ayyankoyikkal Government Higher Secondary School were awarded as second runners-up. They received cash prizes of ₹15,000 and ₹10,000 respectively for their excellent displays of knowledge.
The exciting quiz event, held in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday, was officially inaugurated by prominent Congress leader and former Minister V.S. Sivakumar. The thought-provoking questions were expertly crafted by quiz master B.S. Aravind, ensuring a stimulating contest for all participants. The well-deserved prizes were proudly presented to the winners by C.R. Mahesh, MLA, with Kerala Secretariat Association president M.S. Ershad presiding over the memorable and inspiring occasion.
