On Sunday morning, October 19, the horses at Chennai put on a strong display during their exercise routines, with Chief Admiral and Royal Baron notably performing exceptionally well.

- Multiwave, ridden by Jitendra Singh, clocked a comfortable 46 seconds.
- Elsa, with S. Kabdhar, showed good fluidity, finishing in 47 seconds.
- A three-year-old colt (by Surfrider out of Sassy Lass), handled by Ram Nandan, also moved effortlessly in 47 seconds.
- Both Saintly Star (ridden by ‘rb’) and Royal Chivalry (also ‘rb’) completed their workout in a sharp 43.5 seconds, showing keenness.
- Straordinario recorded a handy 46 seconds.
- Crown Angel, under Shah Alam, extended well to finish in 44 seconds.
- The pair of Rise Again (Shah Alam) and Raffinato (Koshi Kumar) demonstrated excellent condition, clocking 42 seconds.
- The star performers, Chief Admiral (S. Kabdhar) and Royal Baron (‘rb’), truly impressed with an excellent time of 41 seconds.
- Carolina Springs was lightly urged (“niggled”) to finish in 45 seconds.
- Queens Cliff (Farid Ansari) along with Classic King (R. Manish) maintained a steady pace, crossing the mark together in 45.5 seconds.
