The Kerala State government has initiated a significant reshuffle within its Indian Police Service (IPS) ranks, issuing orders on Thursday for the transfer of three key officers.
As part of these changes, R. Nishanthini, who previously served as the Deputy Inspector General of Police for Intelligence, will now assume the important role of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Administration. This move places her at the helm of crucial administrative functions within the force.
Jaidev G., having recently rejoined duty after completing his study leave, has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police for Internal Security within the State Special Branch. Additionally, he will hold the full additional charge as the Inspector General of Police for Intelligence, signifying an expanded and strategic role.
Meanwhile, Jayasankar R., who previously served as the Superintendent of Police for Internal Security in the State Special Branch, has been reassigned to lead the Police Training College as its Principal. In this new capacity, he will oversee the development and training of future police personnel.
