Noteworthy among them were Never Give In, Siege Courageous, Perfect Legend, Razzmatazz, and Resplendence, all of whom showcased excellent form.
Inner Sand Track Highlights:
- 1000m: Shamrock, ridden by Suraj, completed the distance in 1 minute 7 seconds, with the final 600m clocked at 39 seconds, a performance that ‘pleased’ onlookers.
- 1200m: Kalamitsi, under Mark, strode out well, finishing in 1 minute 22 seconds, covering the last 1000m in 1 minute 7.5 seconds and the final 600m in 40 seconds.
Outer Sand Track Highlights:
- 600m: Ancient History (rb) moved on the bit in 45.5 seconds, while Moon Star (Akshay) had an easy run in 46 seconds. Tiger Bay (Shinde) stretched well in 43.5 seconds, and Supreme Success (rb) moved freely in 46 seconds.
- 1000m: Lightning Blitz (Suraj) impressively finished four lengths ahead of Super Sapphire (Prabhakaran) with a time of 1 minute 11.5 seconds, clocking the last 600m in 45 seconds. Star Glory (Prabhakaran) and Touch Of Grey (Suraj) eased up towards the end, recording 1 minute 12 seconds for the 1000m and 46.5 seconds for the final 600m. Ziva (Suhas) impressed with a time of 1 minute 11.5 seconds and a 600m split of 43.5 seconds. Eternal Glory (Siddaraju) and Glorious Strides (Darshan) finished level at 1 minute 14.5 seconds for the 1000m, with the last 600m in 43.5 seconds. Never Give In (Antony) moved attractively, completing 1000m in 1 minute 11 seconds and the last 600m in 42 seconds.
