In a proactive move, Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta thoroughly inspected the security protocols at the revered Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in Srisailam on Tuesday, October 14. This crucial review comes in anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to offer prayers on October 16.
Upon his arrival in the picturesque temple town, the DGP meticulously examined every critical location: the helipad, the designated road route leading from the helipad to the temple, the Bhramaramba guest house, the Shivaji Spoorthy Kendram, and the temple premises itself, all of which are part of Prime Minister Modi’s itinerary. He presided over a comprehensive review of the bandobust (security deployment) arrangements, issuing clear directives to officials to implement ‘foolproof’ measures, leaving no stone unturned for the high-profile visit.
Accompanying DGP Gupta were several key officials, including Kurnool Range DIG Koya Praveen, EAGLE Team IG Ake Ravikrishna, Nandyal SP Suneel Sheoran, and the former SP of the district, Adhiraj Singh Rana, among others, underscoring the collaborative effort in ensuring maximum security.
