M. Pruthviraj, a brilliant Biotechnology student at Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) in Nellore, has earned the prestigious National NSS Best Volunteer Award for his truly remarkable dedication to social service. President Droupadi Murmu personally presented him with this esteemed honor during a special ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi this Monday.
The significant event saw the presence of high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, alongside National Service Scheme (NSS) representatives from across India. Expressing his gratitude upon receiving the national accolade, Pruthviraj humbly stated, “This award is not just for me but for the entire NSS unit of VSU. I will continue to work harder in social service, focusing on rural development and the welfare of youth.”
VSU Vice-Chancellor Allam Srinivasarao proudly remarked on this momentous occasion, “This is a proud moment for our university.
