To commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, the Bihar unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to screen an inspirational short film titled ‘Chalo Jeete Hain’ (Come, Let’s Live) across all 243 Assembly constituencies in the state, which is currently gearing up for elections.
On the eve of Mr. Modi’s birthday, 243 specially equipped vans, each featuring a large screen, were dispatched from Patna’s Gandhi Maidan. These vans will facilitate the widespread screening of the film.
Senior BJP leaders, including State president Dilip Kumar Jaiswal, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, Bihar in-charge Vinod Tawde, Health Minister Mangal Pandey, and Union Minister Nityanand Rai, officially flagged off these vehicles. Mr. Jaiswal remarked that these ‘chariots’ are intended to disseminate a message of service and dedication, drawn from the Prime Minister’s inspiring childhood journey, allowing every citizen to find motivation in his life of struggle and determination.
The film’s narrative highlights how a young Narendra Modi was deeply influenced by Swami Vivekananda’s profound words: ‘Only those who live for others, actually live’.
An Inspirational Narrative for All
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Choudhary emphasized that the film is poised to inspire ordinary citizens by demonstrating that even someone from humble beginnings can ascend to the highest office of Prime Minister. He urged everyone to help spread this powerful message far and wide.
Beyond the film screenings, the BJP’s Bihar unit will also organize various public service initiatives, including blood donation camps, as part of a ‘Seva Pakhwada’ (service fortnight) observed throughout the state from September 17 to October 2.
Mr. Choudhary further added that the Modi government has undertaken numerous significant measures to benefit the public, citing the abolition of GST on essential food items like roti, bread, and paratha. He affirmed that under Mr. Modi’s leadership, the nation is steadily advancing towards a ‘New India’. He concluded by stating that through the short film and these service programs, stories of PM Modi’s simplicity, resilience, and fighting spirit will be shared in every village and home, fostering a deeper connection between party workers and the public.
Lok Sabha MP from Ujiarpur and former Bihar BJP president, Mr. Rai, confirmed that these ‘chariots’ would reach every corner of Bihar, with screenings planned at over 50,000 locations.
Mr. Rai stressed that the film is not just a cinematic portrayal but a reflection of the real-life experiences of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a child. He highlighted that Mr. Modi’s path to the Prime Minister’s office was arduous, marked by poverty and difficulties during his childhood, yet he never surrendered to adversity. Mr. Rai concluded that Mr. Modi embraced these challenging circumstances as opportunities, entering politics with a vision to ensure that future generations would not endure similar struggles.
