Union Home Minister Amit Shah confidently stated on Monday, October 6, 2025, that the NDA government has successfully rescued Bihar from the era of ‘Jungle Raj’ and set it on a clear path of progress and effective governance. He expressed strong conviction that the state’s residents will once again endorse development-focused politics in the upcoming Assembly elections.
Shah’s remarks followed closely after the Election Commission officially unveiled the schedule for Bihar’s assembly polls. Voting is slated for November 6 and November 11, with the vote counting scheduled for November 14.
“The Election Commission has announced the Bihar Legislative Assembly elections. My heartfelt congratulations to all the people of Bihar for this grand festival of democracy,” Shah posted on X (formerly Twitter) in Hindi.
He further elaborated, “Under the visionary leadership of Modi Ji, the NDA government has liberated Bihar from ‘Jungle Raj’ and guided it towards a new trajectory of growth and sound administration.”
The Home Minister emphasized that Bihar is currently undergoing significant transformations across all sectors, including improvements in welfare programs, infrastructure development, healthcare services, and educational facilities.
“I am absolutely certain that the people of Bihar will, without a doubt, choose the politics of development once more,” he concluded.
