Bengaluru was shaken by two separate and tragic accidents on Saturday, claiming the lives of two autorickshaw drivers.
In Austin Town, 50-year-old Syed Akram Pasha tragically died after losing control of his autorickshaw and colliding with a parked taxi. Two passengers in his vehicle also sustained injuries. Both vehicles suffered significant front-end damage. Bystanders quickly transported Pasha to a nearby hospital, but he unfortunately succumbed to his severe injuries. The Ashok Nagar traffic police have since initiated an investigation into the incident.
Hours later, a similar heartbreaking event unfolded in Govindaraj Nagar. Venkataramanaiah, aged 62, was attempting a U-turn on 17th Cross when he lost control of his autorickshaw, causing it to overturn. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he too passed away from his injuries. The Vijaya Nagar traffic police are investigating this second fatal accident.
