Anticipation is high in Koppal district as Chief Minister Siddaramaiah prepares for a significant visit on Monday. The agenda includes the inauguration of completed development projects and the laying of foundation stones for new initiatives, collectively valued at an impressive ₹2,000 crore.
In charge of overseeing the arrangements, Minister for Backward Classes Welfare and Kannada and Culture, Shivraj Tangadagi, conducted a thorough inspection of the venue on Saturday. He meticulously reviewed all preparatory aspects.
During his visit to the main venue at Agadi Layout on Hosapete Road, Minister Tangadagi assessed critical arrangements. These included the main stage, the media gallery, seating provisions for both dignitaries and the general public, accessible drinking water facilities, efficient vehicle parking zones, and informational exhibition stalls curated by various government departments.
The Minister engaged in detailed discussions with officials, emphasizing the importance of ensuring every arrangement was perfectly in place for the event’s smooth execution.
Speaking to the press, Mr. Tangadagi shared that the program is expected to draw a crowd of over one lakh people, including numerous beneficiaries. He stressed the necessity of impeccable planning for drinking water and food services, urging all officials to implement stringent precautions to guarantee that attendees experience no discomfort or inconvenience.
“Robust security measures will be implemented by the police, and the parking areas designated for buses transporting beneficiaries must be managed with utmost efficiency. Furthermore, the departmental exhibition stalls will serve as vital platforms to offer comprehensive information about various government schemes to farmers, women, students, and the wider public,” he explained.
Accompanying the Minister during his inspection were several key officials and representatives, including Koppal MLA K. Raghavendra Hitnal, former Minister Amaregowda Patil Bayyapur, Deputy Commissioner Suresh B. Itnal, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Varnit Negi, Superintendent of Police Ram L. Arasiddhi, and the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the District Guarantee Scheme Implementation Authority, Reddy Srinivas and Manjunath Gondabal, respectively.
