A devastating car crash in Ramanattukara, located in Kerala’s Kozhikode district, left seven passengers with severe injuries on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Among the injured were three young children. The collision, which happened around 11 a.m., unfolded as the family was making their way back to their home in Kakkur, having just picked up a family member from the bustling Kozhikode International Airport. The force of the impact was so immense that the front section of the car was completely demolished.
Police sources confirmed that the car’s driver was extracted from the wreckage in an extremely critical state. All those who sustained injuries were swiftly transported to the Kozhikode Government Medical College Hospital for urgent medical attention.
