Bengaluru’s racing track was buzzing with excitement this Saturday morning (October 4th) as several top contenders showcased their exceptional form during their exercise routines. Among those turning heads with their brilliant performances were Power of Gold, Stalingrad, and Alamgir.
Inner Sand Track Highlights:
- 600m: Eastern Gold, guided by R. Pradeep, demonstrated a strong stride, clocking an impressive 39.5 seconds. Joyful Spirit (Rushal G) was in excellent condition at 40.5 seconds, while Mutual Trust (Shreyas) also put in a solid effort, finishing at 40 seconds.
- 1000m: In a compelling display, Double Your Money (R. Pradeep) outpaced River Deep (A. Ramu) by three lengths, completing the distance in 1-7.5, with the last 600m in 40.5. Hidden Dreams (ridden by rb) also looked promising, shaping well with a time of 1-8 (600m in 40).
Outer Sand Track Highlights:
- 600m: Sweet Winner (A. Ramu) moved with effortless ease, finishing in 46 seconds. Flamingo Dream (Jagadeesh) and Palma (R. Pradeep) also showed good movement, clocking 45 and 46 seconds respectively.
- 1000m: Irish Coffee (rb) posted a pleasing 1-16.5 (600m in 44), while Tiger Bay (Aleemuddin) moved freely in 1-16 (600m in 45.5).
- 1200m: Sapporo (Arvind) and Big Sauce (Rozario) maintained a comfortable pace, completing their run in 1-34, with the final 600m in 44.5. Adornment (R. Pradeep) was in splendid form, finishing in 1-31 (1000m in 1-16, 600m in 44). Power of Gold (R. Pradeep) truly caught the eye, moving attractively with a time of 1-31 (1000m in 1-14, 600m in 41.5). Auctav (rb) also had an easy workout, clocking 1-31.5 (1000m in 1-16, 600m in 46).
- 1400m: Politesse (Aleemuddin) and Glorious Spectre (rb) were eased up in the latter stages, finishing in 1-47 (1400-600m in 58). However, it was Stalingrad (Rozario) and Alamgir (Pavan) who truly impressed. Stalingrad, starting two lengths behind, finished a length ahead of Alamgir, with impressive times of 1-40 (1200m in 1-25.5, 1000m in 1-13, 600m in 46). Victor Hugo (Rozario) and Night Raider (Arvind) also showed promise, completing their distance in 1-48 (1400-600m in 58).
- 1600m: Charismatic (rb) had a relaxed session, eased up in the final stretch, finishing in 2-0 (1600-600m in 1-13).
The morning’s track work suggests a promising season ahead for these thoroughbreds, with several horses demonstrating excellent fitness and readiness for upcoming races.
