On the inner sand course, two horses caught the eye:
- Dramatic (ridden by Hindu S): Clocked an impressive 1 minute, 8.5 seconds over 1000 meters, with the last 600 meters covered in 41 seconds. Dramatic moved with notable ease and confidence.
- Meropi (ridden by Shreyas): Demonstrated fluent stride work over 1200 meters, completing the distance in 1 minute, 20.5 seconds, and the final 600 meters in a swift 39 seconds. Meropi appeared to be in excellent rhythm.
