The Pune racecourse buzzed with anticipation on Friday morning as two notable thoroughbreds, Key West and Ensky, truly distinguished themselves during their exercise routines. Their impressive gallops and swift timings caught the attention of observers, hinting at strong prospects for future competitions.

However, it was Ensky, steered by Umesh, who truly shone with an attractive performance, finishing in a brisk 1 minute 4 seconds (800m in 50s, 600m in 37s). Caradoc, ridden by Akram, also impressed with a solid 1 minute 6 seconds (800m in 52s, 600m in 39s). Dedication, with Mosin in the saddle, took it easy, completing the 1000m in 1 minute 12 seconds and the 600m in 43 seconds.
1600m: Key West, partnered with Parmar, delivered a standout exercise over the longer distance. Starting two lengths behind stablemate Jetfire (ridden by an unknown jockey), Key West effortlessly surged ahead to finish a clear two lengths in front. Their timings were 1 minute 51 seconds for the 1600m, 1 minute 36 seconds for 1400m, 1 minute 21 seconds for 1200m, 1 minute 7 seconds for 1000m, 53 seconds for 800m, and 40 seconds for 600m, highlighting Key West’s impressive stamina and speed.
